• Day 1 : Pisaq Market , Ollantaytambo, Maras Moray And Expedition Train To Machu Picchu

  Overnight in Machu Picchu (Altitude: 2200 m. - 7218 ft)

  In the morning, your tour guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel for your private Sacred Valley tour. Our first visit will be in the town of Pisaq, which has a large daily market full of goods for both tourists and locals. On this market you will find villagers, coming from the mountains, to sell their home-grown produce and unique handmade arts and crafts. It is highly recommended for having a wide variety of interesting souvenirs at great prices. Your private tour guide and driver will take you off the beaten path to Maras, a typical Andean village. Here you will walk through the streets and get a sense that you are walking during the time of the Incas as a lot of the culture has remained very similar. The people continue to wear traditional clothing and the town is lined with historical buildings and you will have a great view of the village and its surrounding snow-capped mountains. Next, we will drive you to the incredible circular terraces of Moray, which were used as an Incan laboratory to acclimatize crops. After that, you will have a nice lunch in a local house at a nearby location. Following lunch, you will have an opportunity to visit the salt terraces of Maras to see and learn about an ancient pre-Incan method of producing salt. After exploring Maras & Moray, we will drive to Ollantaytambo, one of the last Incan refuges during Spanish colonization. You will step back in time as many of the houses and buildings continue to stand from the Incan empire and display original architecture. You will be invited to enter one of these houses to observe the building and the way in which the people used to live. We will then take you to visit the powerful and impressive Ollantaytambo ruins, temples and terraces. These sites continue to be well preserved since the Spanish conquest and provide an interesting insight into how towns were designed during the Incan period. This tour also includes a visit to a local Andean house to observe the daily life and activities of the people. After your Sacred Valley tour, you will go to the Ollantaytambo train station where your private tour guide will accompany you to take the one hour and a half train journey through spectacular scenery to Aguas Calientes.

• Day 2 : Machu Picchu Wonder Of The World & Expedition Train To Cusco

  This morning, your tour guide will meet you at your hotel and transfer you to the ruins for your tour of Machu Picchu, ‘The Lost City of the Incas.’ At this spectacular sacred Incan site, you will learn about the history and visit the truly remarkable Temples of the Sun and the Condor. You will also see the aqueducts and houses while learning some interesting facts about the Incan Sacred Terraces. After your guided tour, you will have plenty of time to explore this truly magnificent site on your own. There are many short trek options, such as the one to the Sun Gate for an impressive view overlooking Machu Picchu and Wayna Picchu or a visit to the Incan Bridge, a secret entrance for the Incan Army. The most adventurous trekkers should not miss the famous mountain climb to the summit of Wayna Picchu, which can be scheduled at either 7 am or 10 am; however, there is a limit on the number of people who can climb each day so you will need to book it with us in advance.In the afternoon, you will return back to Aguas Calientes in time to for your train to Cusco. Upon arrival into Cusco, we will transfer you to your hotel.

• Contract

  The booking is accepted when Cultural Immersion receives the first deposit from its clients. At this point in time the contract between client and Cultural Immersion is effective and legally binding.
  In order to secure the trip, we will require a 30% deposit of the total package price by the time of your booking.

• Payments

  First Payment: 30% deposit by the time of booking
  Second Payment: Full Amount, to be paid 45 days prior to your arrival
  In the case the booking will be proceeded 45 or less days to the arrival, the whole amount will be required in once.
  If the booking is made 45 days or less from the arrival time then the whole amount will be required at the time of booking.

• Credit Card Payments

  The first and second payment can be made using credit card via PayPal, Payments made through credit card / paypal are subject to a 5% surcharge.

• Cancellations and Changes by the Client (Land Packages)

  Any cancellations or changes made by the client must be submitted in writing by the client at their earliest convenience

• Cancellation and Changes by Cultural Immersion

  We do our best to operate your tour as sold. However, we reserve the right to curtail or modify the itinerary, or to substitute activities, hotels, meals or transportation as we deem necessary
  None of these modifications or changes will affect the land package price
  We reserve the right to cancel a trip at any time for a reason that would compromise the quality of the trip or the safety of the passengers or any other circumstances beyond our control . In this case, we will either refund this part of your trip or aplly this cost to other services (eventual additional cost)
  In case we need to cancel the tour (not related to situations beyond our control), we will refund your fully paid pre-payments or work with you to apply those payments to another tour

• Prices

  All prices shown on this web site are per person and expressed in US Dollars.
  For children aged 4 - 9, the package price is based on sharing a room with adults. Prices will be confirmed or advised at the time you book
  Once we receive your deposit, your tour package price is guaranteed and any subsequent price increases will be at our expense

• Airlines

  We are acting as your agent only and have no liability or responsibility for the performance of services by the airlines including, but not limited to, accident, death, personal injury, property damage or flight delay
  Flight bookings are totally non refundable or transferable.

• Accommodations
