TAKE A TOUR TO LAKE TITICACA AND VISIT THE UROS FLOATING ISLANDS, BUILT OF TOTORA REED. EXPLORE AMANTNI ISLAND AND HAVE A DELICIOUS LOCAL DINNER. YOU WILL SPEND THE NIGHT HERE, IN THE HUT OF ONE OF THE DWELLERS. THE NEXT DAY YOU WILL VISIT TAQUILE ISLAND, BEFORE RETURNING TO PUNO.
Today, you will be met at your hotel and taken to the highest navigable lake in the world, Lake Titicaca. During the morning, you will visit the unique Uros Floating Islands, which have been built using only totora reeds, a water plant that grows in the lake. You will be amazed to see how the locals use the totora reeds to build their canoes, houses, beds and many other objects necessary in their daily lives. As part of your visit to Uros, you will ride on a totora reed canoe, which will let you experience a smooth and pleasant trip around the islands From here, we will continue on to Amantani Island via motor boat for 2 hours, so you can relax and enjoy the stunning scenery of Lake Titicaca. Once you have arrived at the island, you will spend time exploring the beautiful landscapes and enjoying a locally prepared lunch in a local house. After lunch, you will have an opportunity to take a short hike to explore the island. During the evening, you will be welcomed into your island hut with a locally cooked Peruvian dinner, and you will pass the night in your cozy family house, The accommodation is basic, but it has a private room with private bathroom.
Today early in the morning, you will arise to a locally cooked breakfast with a spectacular view of the sunrise overlooking Lake Titicaca. After breakfast, you will walk around Taquile Island and learn about its pre-Incan constructions and agricultural terraces. Later in the morning, we will depart Taquile Island to take you to Amantani Island on a 30 minute motor boat ride. At this island, you may notice that their specialties are textiles, weaving and ceramics. The life on this small island is rather simple but fascinating as there are no hotels, cars and limited electricity. You will enjoy a short walk around this island before having a tasty lunch in a traditional Amantanian restaurant. After lunch, it will be time to return back to your hotel in Puno via private boat across the lake.
Amantani
Amantani is an island on the Peruvian side of Lake Titicaca. It has a population o f around 3,500 Quechua speaking inhabitants, devided among about 800 families. The island is circular and about 9.28 km² in size. It has two mountain peaks, Pachatata ("father earth") and Pachamama ("mother earth"), with ancient Inca and Tiwanaku ruins on top of both. The hillsides, are terraced, mostly worked by hand and planted with wheat, quinoa, potatoes and other vegetables.

The booking is accepted when Cultural Immersion receives the first deposit from its clients. At this point in time the contract between client and Cultural Immersion is effective and legally binding.
In order to secure the trip, we will require a 30% deposit of the total package price by the time of your booking.
First Payment: 30% deposit by the time of booking
Second Payment: Full Amount, to be paid 45 days prior to your arrival
In the case the booking will be proceeded 45 or less days to the arrival, the whole amount will be required in once.
If the booking is made 45 days or less from the arrival time then the whole amount will be required at the time of booking.
The first and second payment can be made using credit card via PayPal, Payments made through credit card / paypal are subject to a 5% surcharge.

Substitution of clients: If any person of of the group is not able to travel, it may be possible to transfer the reserved services to another person. An administration fee of USD plus all incurred costs charged by the service providers will be required.
All appropriate refunds will be made directly to your credit card or bank account, minus any fees indicated
AIR/FLIGHT Cancellations: All air packages and air tickets are subject to cancellation policies imposed by the airlines
We do our best to operate your tour as sold. However, we reserve the right to curtail or modify the itinerary, or to substitute activities, hotels, meals or transportation as we deem necessary
None of these modifications or changes will affect the land package price
We reserve the right to cancel a trip at any time for a reason that would compromise the quality of the trip or the safety of the passengers or any other circumstances beyond our control . In this case, we will either refund this part of your trip or aplly this cost to other services (eventual additional cost)
In case we need to cancel the tour (not related to situations beyond our control), we will refund your fully paid pre-payments or work with you to apply those payments to another tour

For children aged 4 - 9, the package price is based on sharing a room with adults. Prices will be confirmed or advised at the time you book
Once we receive your deposit, your tour package price is guaranteed and any subsequent price increases will be at our expense
We are acting as your agent only and have no liability or responsibility for the performance of services by the airlines including, but not limited to, accident, death, personal injury, property damage or flight delay
Flight bookings are totally non refundable or transferable.
