GET IMMERSED IN THE PERUVIAN JUNGLE AND VISIT THE SANDOVAL LAKE, GO TO THE TAMBOPATA NATIONAL RESERVE AND ADMIRE THE WILDLIFE. WALK THROUGH THE CANOPY WALKWAY AND EXPLORE THE AGUAJALES SWAMPS ON A WOODEN BRIDGE. ALSO EXPLORE THE GAMITANA CREEK AND LEARN ABOUT ITS ECOSYSTEM, WHICH INCLUDES PIRANHAS!
Upon your arrival at the airport, your representative will take you to the river port, where your Amazon jungle adventure will begin. You will board a private boat and take a river journey to our lodge. You will have a great experience taking part in the Trail System Adventure, which will allow you to discover the incredible realm of the Amazon forest. You will see exotic rainforest trees and Amazonian lizards, birds and insects. You will then return to the lodge to relax and enjoy a fantastic lunch. During the afternoon, you will be treated to a private Twilight River Boat Ride where you will witness the enchanting transformation of the Amazon jungle from day to night and the new creatures that emerge from the darkness. Keep your eyes to the banks as you explore the river and search for nighttime species, such as nightjars, owls, capybaras and caimans. You will then return to your lodge in time for some exquisite Peruvian cuisine.
Wake up late or rise early — the choice is yours. Breakfast begins at 5:30 a.m., for those who want to avoid the heat, and enjoy nature at its fullest. A full buffet breakfast is served from 5:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. This morning you may visit the Lake Sandoval excursion into the Tambopata National Reserve. Glide in a wooden canoe, across a beautiful, mirror-like oxbow lake that is home to the endangered giant river otter, as well as red howler monkeys, red-bellied macaws, anacondas, side-neck turtles and black caimans. Return to the Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica for lunch. After lunch, consider the remarkable Inkaterra Canopy Walkway. Ascending the first tower, 29 meters above the forest ground, you begin your encounter with the treetop realm. For more than a quarter of a mile, you will literally walk through the rainforest canopy on a suspension bridge network linking eight observation platforms. During this hour-and-a-half expedition, be on the lookout for colorful toucans, woodpeckers, trogons, monkeys, and sloths. If you wish you may extend your excursion and appreciate the sunset from one of the towers. The excursion finishes by returning to the lodge. Once at the lodge, enjoy the daily nature presentation in the Eco Center. Dinner starts at 7:30 p.m.
Today, after a tasty breakfast, you will enjoy an adventurous walk for 2 ½ hours, following the Gamitana Creek, which is home to piranhas, caimans, turtles and a great number of different and brightly colored Amazonian birds. After this exploration, you will reach the embarkment point, where you will board a canoe for your two hours ride downstream to the Gamita Model Farm, while learning about the ecosystems of the creek. Upon arrival, you will walk through the Model Farm, being able to appreciate the rich plant and animal life before returning to the lodge via boat. During the evening, you will enjoy a delicious gourmet dinner.
Today, after you enjoyed your breakfast, we will take you to visit the Butterfly House, where you will see and learn about the diverse characteristics of these wonderful species. From here, we will take you to Puerto Maldonado Airport in time for your domestic flight to your next destination.

The booking is accepted when Cultural Immersion receives the first deposit from its clients. At this point in time the contract between client and Cultural Immersion is effective and legally binding.
In order to secure the trip, we will require a 30% deposit of the total package price by the time of your booking.
First Payment: 30% deposit by the time of booking
Second Payment: Full Amount, to be paid 45 days prior to your arrival
In the case the booking will be proceeded 45 or less days to the arrival, the whole amount will be required in once.
If the booking is made 45 days or less from the arrival time then the whole amount will be required at the time of booking.
The first and second payment can be made using credit card via PayPal, Payments made through credit card / paypal are subject to a 5% surcharge.

We do our best to operate your tour as sold. However, we reserve the right to curtail or modify the itinerary, or to substitute activities, hotels, meals or transportation as we deem necessary
None of these modifications or changes will affect the land package price
We reserve the right to cancel a trip at any time for a reason that would compromise the quality of the trip or the safety of the passengers or any other circumstances beyond our control . In this case, we will either refund this part of your trip or aplly this cost to other services (eventual additional cost)
In case we need to cancel the tour (not related to situations beyond our control), we will refund your fully paid pre-payments or work with you to apply those payments to another tour
