Cover the main destinations in Peru and Bolivia with this tour. Start at the big and modern capital of Peru: Lima. Continue your voyage exploring Cusco, the Sacred Valley, and the amazing Machu Picchu. Get closer to Bolivia navigating into the Titicaca Lake and then reach La Paz. Finally, you will explore the Salt Flats of Uyuni in a private expedition.

In the morning, we will invite you on a private tour of Lima called ‘The City of the Kings´, where you will enjoy seeing the best of both colonial and modern Lima. We will take you to the San Martin Plaza, where you will walk through the busy and fascinating pedestrian-only Jirón de la Union Street, which leads to Plaza de Armas, the main plaza. This street was constructed in 1535 and still retains its old charm with a number of shops and restaurants set in a mixture of old and new buildings. We will then arrive at the Plaza de Armas, a beautiful square surrounded by places. The colonial part of Lima is full of history and our expert guide will give you an introduction to the current capital of Perú.After visiting the central part of Lima, we will head to a more local authentic area, such as Chorrillos, a district famous for its fishing activity where you will see the local fishermans and explore the real local part of Lima.We will then continue through Barranco, where we will have a short walk around this bohemian and old district of Lima, located on an impressive cliff that overlooks the Pacific Ocean. After your Lima experience, you will arrive back at your hotel and can spend the rest of the day at your leisure.
In the morning, we pick you up from your hotel and take you to the Lima Airport in time for your domestic flight to Cusco. Upon arrival to the Incan Empire of Cusco, your private tour guide will welcome you to the city and take you to the Sacred Valley of the Incas by private van. Along the route, you will have the chance to experience the rich culture and nature of the Andes and to have an off the beaten track encounter, apart from the crowded tourist spots. Therefore, we will take you to Umasbamba, a local community where people create Andean textiles using the ancestral technics since the Incas times, here you will not only learn about the weaving process but also have a first impression of the daily life of the farmers in the Andean highlands, a great introduction to the local culture. After our visit, we will continue driving, passing through the beautiful Piuray Lake, and always accompanied by the mountains. Finally, you will arrive in Maras, a very authentic village of farmers, with a spectacular scenery of the Andean mountain range and glaciers, where your Andean Villas are located and where you will start your cultural Immersion experience.
This day will be full of surprises and offers you plenty of possibilities to explore the culture and the nature of the Peruvian Andes.During the morning, you can learn about ancient Incan and pre-Incan agricultural methods, including a visit to the salt mines of Maras and local fields, you can also visit the circulate terraces of Moray used as an agriculture laboratory during the Incan time. As an alternative, you are also able to include sporty activities such as a biking tour through the stunning landscape of the Sacred Valley or a kayaking adventure on Waypo Lake, a calm lake between the snow-capped mountains. So please, let us know if you would like to bike or kayak this day!In the afternoon, you will be able to experience cultural activities, such as a visit to a local school that we support with our social projects. In the morning, your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel for your private tour of Ollantaytambo, one of the last Incan refugees during Spanish colonization. You will step back in time as many of the houses and buildings continue to stand from the Incan empire and display original architecture. You will be invited to enter one of these houses to observe the building and the way in which the people used to live.Then we will take you to the train station of Ollantaytambo, where you will board the train to Aguas Calientes. On this one and a half hour spectacular train journey you will be able to observe a change in the landscape, from the typical Andean highlands to the beginning of the jungle.Upon arrival to Aguas Calientes, your private tour guide will take you to the bus station and accompany you to the complex of Machu Picchu ´The Lost City of the Incas´. We truly recommend visiting this highlight in the afternoon, as it is less crowded which gives you the opportunity to better feel the spirit of this truly magic site. During your tour of this sacred Incan site, you will learn about the history and visit the truly remarkable temples of the Sun and the Condor. You will also see the aqueducts and houses while learning some interesting facts about the Incan Sacred Terraces. After your guided tour, you will have plenty of time to explore this truly magnificent site on your own. There are many short trek options, such as the one to the Sun Gate for an impressive view of Machu Picchu or a visit to the Incan Bridge, a secret entrance for the Incan Army.In the later afternoon, you will return to Aguas Calientes where you will you have the rest of the evening to spend at your leisure. You should not miss taking a bath in the hot springs or have a great dinner in one of our recommended restaurants.
Optional short Inca Trail: As an option today you could also replace this tour for the short Incan Trail to Machu Picchu, This is a great option we recommend you as it will not only let you enjoy fully of Machu Picchu without crowds but also includes a second visit the next morning. If you decide to do this you will take an early train in the morning and get off at the Km 104, from here you will start your trek, always accompanied by your private tour guide and walk for about 6 - 7 hours to reach Machu Picchu, upon arrival you will enjoy a first spectacular view of the citadel from the Sun Gate. The additional cost for this option is 200 USD per person including entrance ticket, tour guide, and Machu Pichu 2 day visit. If you would like to take this option you need to let us know in advance as there are limited spaces for the Inca Trail.
Today, you will have the morning to spend at your leisure on your own. You will have the opportunity to revisit Machu Picchu (entrance and bus tickets not included) to enjoy the many short trekking options or venture the famous mountain climb to the summit of Wayna Picchu, which can be scheduled at either 7 am or 10 am. However, there is a limit on the number of people who can climb each day so you will need to book it with us in advance. If you do not want to revisit Machu Picchu, you might want to take a walk through the crooked alleys of Aguas Calientes and observe the life of the people in this truly touristy place or take a bath in the hot springs of the place. After lunch, you will board the scenic train back to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival to the train station, we will pick you up and transfer you to Cusco by private van.
In the morning, your tour guide will meet you at your hotel to begin your city tour of Cusco. You will start the tour visiting the Temple of the Sun, ‘Qoricancha’, located on the main Avenida El Sol (Avenue of the Sun). This Incan site was one of the most worshipped and respected temples of the Incan Empire. We will then meet different squares ("plazas") of the city: The Main Plaza (Plaza de Armas), Regocijo and San Francisco. After our visits, we will explore the local neighborhood of San Blas, which is the most scenic area of the city and you will find many art galleries and enjoy the local contemporary art.*If you want to make your city tour more adventurous you can do it on a bike without any extra cost. Please, let us know if you want this option and we can provide the bicycles and equipment. In the afternoon, we will start our culinary experience by taking you to the San Pedro Market, where you will see a wide variety of goods including, the vast different kind of potatoes, corn, meat, cheese, fruits, etc. Afterwards, you will be taken to the Cusco Culinary Cooking Studio, located in the center of Cusco where our Peruvian professional chef will show you how to prepare the most popular and tasty dishes of the Andes of Peru, including a refreshing drink, appetizer, main course, dessert and of course, the famous Pisco Sour. In this fascinating tour you will not only be able to prepare your own meal but also enjoy the great Peruvian food.
Early in the morning, you will begin your spectacular journey through the Andes to Lake Titicaca. The first stop on this scenic route will be Andahuaylillas church known as the Andean Sistine Chapel, where you will see intriguing 16th, 17th and 18th-century mural paintings and altars completely decorated in gold. The atmosphere is truly terrific as is the sleepy village around it. The next archeological highlight on your trip will be Racchi, a small highland town, where you will see the Incan temple of Wiracocha and learn about its fascinating construction with adobe brick walls that measure up to 11 meters high. After lunch, you will travel through the highest point of the journey, La Raya (4300m, 14100ft), which is the halfway point between Cusco and Puno. At approximately 4 pm, you will arrive in Puno, which lies on the banks of Lake Titicaca. One of our representatives will take you to your hotel where you will have the rest of the night to relax or explore the city.
Today, you will be met at your hotel and taken to the highest navigable lake in the world, Lake Titicaca. During the morning, you will visit the unique Uros Floating Islands, which have been built using only totora reeds, a water plant that grows in the lake. You will be amazed to see how the locals use the totora reeds to build their canoes, houses, beds and many other objects necessary in their daily lives. As part of your visit to Uros, you will ride on a totora reed canoe, which will let you experience a smooth and pleasant trip around the islands.Then you will be transferred to Copacabana. Upon arrival at the Peruvian/Bolivia border, you will need to complete immigration procedures. You will then be taken to your hotel in Copacabana. During the afternoon you will enjoy a private boat tour to the Isla del Sol, the Island of the Sun, which was the birthplace of the Incan Empire. On this beautiful historical island, you will visit the Garden, Stairs, and Fountain of the Incas. You will also visit an Incan archeological site and then we will have a walk around the Island to see the agricultural terraces and the beautiful landscapes. After visiting the island, your private tour guide will take you back to your hotel in Copacabana.
Today in the morning at your desired time, your private tour guide and van will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to La Paz. Upon arrival in La Paz, we will take you to your hotel, and you will have the rest of the day at leisure.
In the morning, you will be met at your hotel and taken to the La Paz Airport for your domestic flight to Uyuni. Your adventure will begin in Uyuni where you will travel by 4x4 to visit the Antique Train Cemetery to see some old relics from the early 1900s. You will then continue on to the village of Colchani where the people live from mining salt and hold a small market where you may purchase crafts and souvenirs. After the market, you will enter the world`s largest and most impressive salt flats, Salar de Uyuni. Here, you will be surrounded by immense beauty as the sun shines brightly on the white salt with stunning mountains lining the horizon. You will then visit the Isla Inka Wasi which is a rocky island in the middle of the salt flats. Here, you will be able to see gigantic cacti while you are treated to a delicious picnic lunch. In the afternoon, you will continue to your hotel that`s almost entirely made from salt, Hotel de Sal.
You may awake early to view the stunning sunrise over the salt flats and enjoy a delicious breakfast. Today`s tour will take you to the village of Coquesa with spectacular views of the salt flats. Here, You will have the opportunity to enter the side of the Tunupa Volcano into a sacred cave that contains mummies that are estimated to be 1000 years old. You will then experience a magnificent view of the salt flats after a short walk to the Salt Flats Lookout, El Mirador del Salar. In the evening, you will spend the night relaxing at the Salt Hotel.
This morning, you may awake early for another spectacular view of the sun rising over the salt flats. After breakfast, you will be taken to the Uyuni Airport for your domestic flight to La Paz. You will arrive in La Paz and then we will drive you to your hotel in La Paz.
Today, you will walk on top of the world as you visit the best places on a private city tour of La Paz. You will begin with a visit to the Killi Killi Tower, where you will have a beautiful panoramic view of the city and surrounding mountains. You will then visit the Costumbrista Museum and you will learn about the history, customs and traditions of La Paz, depicted through art, photos, dolls, ceramics and miniature scenes. You will then drive through La Paz to the Valley of the Moon, which is a canyon formed from eroded rocks and pinnacles making the ground appear similar to the moon. You can explore this beautiful valley while enjoying the stunning views and different rock formations. After your tour through the valley, you will visit the Witches Market, where you will see items used especially for rituals and witchcraft. In the afternoon, you will arrive back at your hotel and you will have the rest of the day to spend at your leisure.

The booking is accepted when Cultural Immersion receives the first deposit from its clients. At this point in time the contract between client and Cultural Immersion is effective and legally binding.
In order to secure the trip, we will require a 30% deposit of the total package price by the time of your booking.
First Payment: 30% deposit by the time of booking
Second Payment: Full Amount, to be paid 45 days prior to your arrival
In the case the booking will be proceeded 45 or less days to the arrival, the whole amount will be required in once.
If the booking is made 45 days or less from the arrival time then the whole amount will be required at the time of booking.
The first and second payment can be made using credit card via PayPal, Payments made through credit card / paypal are subject to a 5% surcharge.

The first and second payment can be made using wire money transfer.

Change of dates after the deposit has been made: 5% plus any other additional fees that might occur.
Substitution of clients: If any person of of the group is not able to travel, it may be possible to transfer the reserved services to another person. An administration fee of USD plus all incurred costs charged by the service providers will be required.
All appropriate refunds will be made directly to your credit card or bank account, minus any fees indicated
AIR/FLIGHT Cancellations: All air packages and air tickets are subject to cancellation policies imposed by the airlines
We do our best to operate your tour as sold. However, we reserve the right to curtail or modify the itinerary, or to substitute activities, hotels, meals or transportation as we deem necessary
None of these modifications or changes will affect the land package price
We reserve the right to cancel a trip at any time for a reason that would compromise the quality of the trip or the safety of the passengers or any other circumstances beyond our control . In this case, we will either refund this part of your trip or aplly this cost to other services (eventual additional cost)
In case we need to cancel the tour (not related to situations beyond our control), we will refund your fully paid pre-payments or work with you to apply those payments to another tour

For children aged 4 - 9, the package price is based on sharing a room with adults. Prices will be confirmed or advised at the time you book
Once we receive your deposit, your tour package price is guaranteed and any subsequent price increases will be at our expense
We are acting as your agent only and have no liability or responsibility for the performance of services by the airlines including, but not limited to, accident, death, personal injury, property damage or flight delay
Flight bookings are totally non refundable or transferable.
The accommodations are specified in the accomodation section of our website

We reserve the right to offer an alternative accommodation of a similar standard in the case the accommodation specified in our web site is overbooked or for any reason beyond our control. No changes will be made after payment
