One of our unique adventures of visiting the highlights of the area, is by an electric assisted bicycle. In this way you can explore the area in a sustainable way. This 4 day journey will immerse you in the Andes and into the local life.
The first day of this biking trip, we will go from Cusco to Pisac, The first part we will bike all the way up the hill until 3600 meters. As we will use E- Bike this will be an enjoyable uptake hill. After reaching the top, we will start our way down to the Sacred Valley, passing through small communities, where we can stop for water, local fruits, or even trying the local corn with cheese. Upon arrival in Pisac, we will enjoy of a great brunch at the local market and continue our adventure all the way up to the archeological site of Pisac. Here we will have a guided tour around the archeological site and finally we will continue to the community of Amaru where we will do our homestay and eat a nice dinner.
On the second day you will bike from Amaru community all the way down to Pisac and after that we will take an alternative route mostly used by bikes. This route will take us along the Sacred valley, next to the river with spectacular views and passing small villages all the way to Urubamba, which is around 35 kilometers. Remember that we are using electric assisted bikes, so this is a very enjoyable ride. At Urubamba we will take you for a great healthy and powerful lunch and continue around 15 km more to the Village of Maras, where you will spend the night at our Refugio located in a very strategical place with the most amazing view of the mountains.
In the morning, one of our local tour guides will take you to the Misminay community. From here we will start our trekking around local communities and farms with spectacular views of the Andes, Including the circulate agriculture terraces of Moray. During the trekking, we will enjoy a picnic in the nature and return to the lodge. In the afternoon you will participate in a great sustainable adventure, using our electric assisted bicycles. One of our expert tour guides will take you to the Huaypo lake where you will enjoy slow kayaking with views of the snowcapped mountains and glaciers. After the kayaking you will be taking back to the lodge for a nice dinner.
After breakfast, it is time to visit the salt terraces of Maras. From ancient times onwards, locals use a unique salt mine to produce high quality salt, which is an important aspect of the Peruvian cuisine. After this educational experience, we will continue the trekking down to the sacred valley passing through the river of Urubamba. Finally, we will take a local bus to Urubamba from where you can travel Cusco or Ollantaytambo (the price of the local bus is not included).Add on: You can always book extra nights at Refugio Maras, including breakfast and dinner. The booking is accepted when Cultural Immersion receives the first deposit from its clients. At this point in time the contract between client and Cultural Immersion is effective and legally binding.
In order to secure the trip, we will require a 30% deposit of the total package price by the time of your booking.
First Payment: 30% deposit by the time of booking
Second Payment: Full Amount, to be paid 45 days prior to your arrival
In the case the booking will be proceeded 45 or less days to the arrival, the whole amount will be required in once.
If the booking is made 45 days or less from the arrival time then the whole amount will be required at the time of booking.
The first and second payment can be made using credit card via PayPal, Payments made through credit card / paypal are subject to a 5% surcharge.

Substitution of clients: If any person of of the group is not able to travel, it may be possible to transfer the reserved services to another person. An administration fee of USD plus all incurred costs charged by the service providers will be required.
All appropriate refunds will be made directly to your credit card or bank account, minus any fees indicated
AIR/FLIGHT Cancellations: All air packages and air tickets are subject to cancellation policies imposed by the airlines
We do our best to operate your tour as sold. However, we reserve the right to curtail or modify the itinerary, or to substitute activities, hotels, meals or transportation as we deem necessary
None of these modifications or changes will affect the land package price
We reserve the right to cancel a trip at any time for a reason that would compromise the quality of the trip or the safety of the passengers or any other circumstances beyond our control . In this case, we will either refund this part of your trip or aplly this cost to other services (eventual additional cost)
In case we need to cancel the tour (not related to situations beyond our control), we will refund your fully paid pre-payments or work with you to apply those payments to another tour

For children aged 4 - 9, the package price is based on sharing a room with adults. Prices will be confirmed or advised at the time you book
Once we receive your deposit, your tour package price is guaranteed and any subsequent price increases will be at our expense
We are acting as your agent only and have no liability or responsibility for the performance of services by the airlines including, but not limited to, accident, death, personal injury, property damage or flight delay
Flight bookings are totally non refundable or transferable.
