Eduardo was born in Cusco, Peru. After completing his secondary school studies at the San Antonio Abad in Cusco, he studied tourism in the Andean University of Cusco. From a young age, he had a major interest in mountain biking. During the ages of 13-16, he represented the Cusco bicycle team and proudly won the Peruvian Mountain Biking Championship. When he was 20 years old, he had the opportunity to travel to the States as part of a work and travel program, where he worked for 2 years in many areas of the hospitality and tourism field. Once he returned back to Peru, he worked as a tour leader and adventure travel tour guide. While working as a tour guide he discovered that his clients not only enjoyed the archeological Incan monuments and the natural attractions that Peru has to offer, but also the culture and traditions of the people, the food, and the undiscovered areas. He also noticed that many of the tourists were very happy to help improve Andean people´s life.

For all of these reasons he decided to set up Cultural Immersion in 2005. He wanted Cultural Immersion to be a travel company with a different concept of traveling, having as a main purpose the entire satisfaction of his clients and also being able to help improve the local economy. Since setting up the company, Eduardo has been working to develop and improve his itineraries, while all the while taking part in volunteer community projects, such as taking a bus of tourists to an Andean community to give gifts to the children every Christmas Day. In 2009, he was invited to the Netherlands as a responsible and sustainable tourism company in a developing country to receive training on entering the European. Eduardo is an entrepreneur with tons of enthusiasm for what he does. Most of the time, he works in the office responding to clients and organizing itineraries but he also likes to welcome his clients to his hometown of Cusco and going with them on some tours as a tour leader to get to know the clients on a personal level. Eduardo will be more than happy to meet you and offer his exceptional services to ensure that you have a wonderful once in a lifetime experience in Peru.
